40W Outdoor Weatherproof Electronic Bug Zapper Lantern. The 40 Watt Stinger is a high voltage traditional style lantern unit with a 40 Watt Replaceable Energy Saving Globe. This product is ideally suited for suburban applications, the 40W globe will attract insects over an area of up to 1 acre. The Ultra Violet Lamp attracts light sensitive insects to an electrified grid where insects are zapped upon contact. Most insects will be exploded on impact, larger insects may get zapped and fall to the ground. The Stinger 40W Bug Zapper is IP4 Rated weatherproof, and is designed for permanent outdoor installation. The cage is constructed from UV resistant, flame retardant polycarbonate plastic to meet Australian Safety Standards. The Stinger 40W is designed for outdoor use, however it can also be used indoors or in covered areas.
